The littlesilvestriboy.blogspot.com is proud to present...
My sweet hostesses and bestest friends! I love these girls. They made this day so special for me...it was awsome to see how excited everyone was for our little Malak!Ooooh a big one! (I think that was the carseat)
This was one of the hostess gifts- Little onsies that said Ethiopia on them. They are so cute and Eric especialy loved them. For anyone who has never been there- go to Cafepress.com and type in "Ethiopia" or "Adoption" and they have TONS of awsome shirts and things.
Here is the pretty table. There were star shaped sugar cookies, spicy candied pecans, hot wings, raspberry deserts, spinach artichoke pizzas and shot glasses with fun little tasties inside. (although not alcohol) Oh but speaking of alcohol there were some very delicious Belini's served...mmm, my fave! Also everyone went home with a CD made up of all songs that said the word "baby"...that's right, we listened to "Ice Ice Baby" all day long. I bet you're sad you missed that.
Here are a few of the girls- Emilee, Averi, Megan, Lisa and Jocelyn. Jocelyn and Lisa are fellow adopting moms and it was so fun to have them there! My dear friend Meredith (who is adopting stateside through Gladney's ABC program) was also there but the only pic that I got of her was with her eyes closed so I figured she may not appreciate if I posted it.
Anyway, my shower was a HUGE blessing! I not only got almost everything that we need to feed and clothe sweet Malak, I was so encouraged and blessed by how many people are waiting and anticipating that precious boy.
