Here is Malak's bedroom! We obviously don't have all the furniture, but this is how it looks right now so I thought I would show it off. We love it and can't wait to have a baby to put in it!! The alphabet pattern is the crib bedding and the polka dots is an extra little accent blanket.

oh i love it! after all the talk, how did you end up doing the dots on the wall?
Is your crib black?? That SO cute!
This is so cute Tara! I mean it is possible that I am a bit biased towards the bedding and all....but really cute. I feel like your blues in the alphabet sheet are different than our blues. Ours is sort of greyish and yours looks definitely blue....maybe dwell made some changes or something. Either way, cute cute and cute! Love the polka dots on the wall...you did great! Malak Malak get over here and see your cute, fun room!
Cool room Tara! You have to show a pic of your chair that we recovered next!
yes jess, it is a black crib! i know its a little wierd to have black furniture in a brown room, but i have to mix it up a little...and i just loved the black crib, so i decided that it was cool to mix black and brown...and blue...and cream...and white...oh dear.
that is so cute. I am so loving brown these days. i can't wait to have a house where i can paint, because I am so going to have a brown room.
I love the polka dots, such a cute idea. I like that its not so baby-ish, and that it will still work when he gets older.
LOVE the room! It is so cute. I can't wait until we start putting ours together! I'm sure your passport will come soon. The lady at the Post Office told us to put a travel date that was really soon on the app so they would make it a priority. Maybe that's the secret?!
Very cute room. I know you are ready for your little guy to be in his cozy bed. It makes it seem a little bit more real when you get to start preparing, right? Amy
The polka dots turned out awesome! I love the bedding and the black crib...we went with black too. I agree with the other comments- getting things ready makes it all seem so real. We visited Babies R Us this weekend and we had so much fun looking at everyting. And of course I bought something- more frogs for the bathroom! Stuffed animals and a night light- I swear that's it now, no more frogs in the bathroom! :) Have you found a chair yet? I'm still looking I can't believe how expensive they are!!
i had a dream about you last night. you posted on your blog that Sam Elisabeth was born that day and that you couldn't wait to go get her. So, i guess you changed your mind about Malak, and decided on a girl instead. I called you all excited and everything, but you were so upset over little marci carmen that you didn't even want to talk about your baby. it was so sad.
LOVE the room tara. very cool. any kid would LOVE to stay in a room that cool!
adoreable room! good work!
Hello Tara,
Thank you for your encouragement! Congratulations on your journey as well. It is so awesome to know that we have a body of other believers to journey this adventure with. We will be praying for you as well. Until we hold our precious babies.....God Bless YOU!
