Kiss me Kate...

Here is a little update for you...
We hired Kate at KBS Dossiers to authenticate all of our documents for our Dossier...we are so glad we did that! She is so helpful and it has been wonderful to not have to do that much more paperwork and running around! whenever I have documents notarized and ready to go I just drop them in the mail and send them off to Kate- my new best friend. Well, I was reading through some instructional paperwork, randomly this weekend and saw a paragraph that says something along these lines, "When you have your paperwork notarized, you must edit the notary statement on your computer so that it is the true and correct notary statement for your state. If the notary statement is incorrect, the Secretary of State WILL NOT authenticate your documents. " Did i do this to ANY of my documents??? Nooooo. Crap. And of course, they have already been sent off to Kate who has already sent them off to the Sec. of State. Crap again. So I quickly emailed Kate and said something along the lines of, "crap!" (Am I over using that word a little?) but praise the Lord God Almighty she quickly emailed me back and said that everything is perfect and that I can calm down and breathe, it all looked fine! haaaaleluia. It actually is truly a gift from the Lord because I checked our notary statement for Oklahoma and the one I used was not exactly the same...but apparently it is close enough. We aren't going to have to re-do our entire Dossier, that is all that matters.

We are using kate too. She is awesome! Geert was born in the Netherlands so she did all the research on his birth certificate to make sure everything was ok. Besides buying the furniture we haven't done anyhting for the room yet. Since our request is so open we don't if we'll be getting one or two children nor their sex. So I've decided to wait until we get our referral and then decorate like mad. I'd like the rooms to be really girly or or lot's og bugs/trucks etc.. for a boy. No yellow rooms for me! :) The bathroom was the only thing we could really do for either sex and I have to post some new pictures now that it's all done. It's so cute I can barely stand it! My email is wewillbringthemhome@gmail.com if you want to email me off line. I'm really excited to find someone else working with Gladney that is at the same point in the process. Do you know the Bottomly's- I think they are in Oklahmoma City too? I don't know them but I love reading their blog- Amy has provided so much good information.
Back to work!

Kate is my new best friend too! It's cool that there is even such a person doing such a job! Did she wake up one day and say, "Hmmm! I think I'll learn all about documents and papers so others don't have to learn it all. They can just ask me. That'll be helpful!"

I love all the Kates.
