It's a miracle!

WOW! We went to the police department about a week and a half ago to get fingerprinted for FBI clearances...and we just recieved them back today!! It said it would take up to 6 weeks and so we weren't expecting them for a while...but yeaaaah! This is one more thing we can check off our list of things left to do. Halleluia!

I just found this! I love it! Just so you know... every Ethiopian person I know, which is actually only one, but there are tons in SD, anyway, they have great skin. The most perfect complexion. You can rest easy knowing your little Malak will have great skin. I know you probably were worried about it, right? Well... I'm really excited for you. I must come visit, maybe by the time you get Malak, and I come visit, we can have an Ethiopian/Ecuadorian baby party. That would be fun.

yes we are going to ethiopia! were so excited about that! not just to pick up our son but also because were so interested in doing mission work there in the future, so it will be a great way to make connections and meet people. we will be there for 10-14 days. woohoo!

Hi Tara,
I saw your post on my blog but I wan't able to email you back so here it is! It's so funny that we are exactly in the same spot-waiting! Our dossier is done with the exception of the HoemStudy and Passport. Like you I wish I would have expediated it but I thought I had plenty of time- it's now offically 10 weeks! My brother sent his in about a month earlier and he got it a month ago so I'm hoping anyday now. We just got word that Gladney finished reviewing our homestudy and sent it back to our agency. I'm really worried about how long CIS approval is going to take- we here it can take quite a while in Atlanta. So happy to hear you are working with Gladney- I'll add your blog to my favorites. Keep in touch!
Renee
