This year has brought lots of possibilities... Will we move to Costa Rica so Eric can go back to school? Will we start the adoption process again? Now it looks like we will be spending some time in Sierra Leone, Africa! Our church, Skyline is involved with and supporting an orphanage/school, a micro loan organization and is in the process of digging 5,000 wells across Sierra Leone. There is MUCH work to be done and in May Eric and I are going to head over to check it all out and be a part of what's going on over there. So for the next 2 months we will be scrimping, saving and trying to raise enough money to get both of us to Africa. We are SO excited about this!! We've been praying for years that the Lord would show us how we can be involved and serve the people of Africa, so we're thrilled to get our butts over there and get our hands dirty.
David Beckham was in Sierra Leone a while back... I'm kinda hoping he'll go back while we happen to be there... You know just so we can maybe hang out, talk... make out... Whatever happens, happens.
SO! I will keep you posted on exact dates of when we will be leaving ect, but please just keep us in your prayers! Now, hurry up and get excited with us!!
***Do I even need to mention that the David Beckham make out session was a joke? It has been brought to my attention that some may not catch that I am being silly and ridiculous. So FYI, I WAS BEING SILLY AND RIDICULOUS. I promise not to make out with anyone but Eric Joseph Silvestri. Cool? Cool.***

Sounds like quite an adventure!! Pretty exciting news. Are you all going with a group? Can't wait to hear all the details!
And, I'm hoping that David Beckham is there while you guys are. It'd make for a great story. :)
I'm SO excited for you guys! You really do need to be in Africa...it's just a fact.(although I think a piece of my heart will break having you so far away)
About David B...um...if you guys go to Africa, are you going to walk around without your shirts on too? Because apparently that's what the cool kids do.
Really exciting............and that David B is something!
Very cool! Will be praying for you guys!
P.S.
Lol...I meant to say "shirts off". Saying "shirts on" is in no way funny and is in every way the norm.
That is so exciting! I work for the Okla. United Methodist mission agency and my boss just got back from Liberia where he met with pastors from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea to find out how our mission teams can serve the churches there. There is a lot of exciting work going on there and I'm so glad you're going to be a part of it.

So awesome!! And by the way I would totally makeout with David Becham- no doubt! Have you heard him talk though....the voice..it's kinda weird. Much better off to just makeout no talking please.
P.S>Really excited for you...please take your BFF necklace to Africa...part of me will be there too! People think we're crazy.
HOW EXCITING! I laughed at your David Beckham comment and what immediately came to mind was "What happens in Sierra Leone stays in Sierra Leone!" HA!
Oh, and I love your little man's dreadlocks!
Blessings, Kristy
