The end is near...

Alright. Here's the deal yo. I am considering ditching the blog. I LOVE, love, love my blog friends and all the amazing people I have met through it. (Infact, we met 3 different people last week who randomly knew our family from our blog) But seeing as I have become a horrible blogger, only posting every few weeks, I am afraid there aren't many readers left. I mean, maybe you all don't really care how often my son poops his pants or that he told me the other day that he wants boobs. So while I am fairly sure the end is near, leave a comment and let me know if you actually read this and would want me to continue... no need to leave your name, if you feel the need to remain annonymous but just give me a shout out. I am more than happy to continue posting if there are more than 4 readers but.... if not, well, I think it might be closing time.

So, HOLLA! (lol, I never say that and am glad I just did)

Hello! If you have to change to only facebook, it's okay, however, You write more indepth here and that's VERY nice.

Erica said...

Uh you are SO freakin funny you better keep posting! Frankly I love how fresh your posts are and the fact that you admit your child said he wants boobs. I'm to embarrassed to write that fact. I think Malak is much like Silas. My small boy feels the same way and often talks about marriage and kissing too. So YES keep posting so I know my kid is NORMAL! ;)

Michael said...

I do read your updates:)

Monique said...

I look so forward to reading your posts and it doesn't bother me if there are weeks in between, because they are always worth the wait! You are honest and funny...and the pictures you post of that amazing little boy always make my husband and I smile! You are helping us through our wait and I hope you stick around :)

I love your updates. I enjoy reading what you have to say even if it is sporadic.

I'm right there with ya sister. I don't think it's worth it to keep blogging for all 2 of my readers. :)

I'm still readin', friend! :)

I'm glad there are already 9 votes for yes...that means you HAVE to keep blogging. Because, seriously, you really are one of the funniest bloggers EVER.

i say keep it up. . .even if it's just for YOU. . . i think the blog is a great forum just to put stuff out there that you want to share with others, but also stuff you want to remember. . . unless you're like an AWESOME journaler or something! but yeah. . just keep telling us how many times a day your son poops his pants. . . cuz soon. . it'll be in the POTTY!!! ~ Timbra

Carrie said...

I'm still reading though I understand your blogging woes. I haven't blogged much at all lately because all the adoption stuff is in the past and how many post can the world read about temper tantrums and potty training?

I will say that even though I live in Alaska, I met someone at McDonald's last year who knew you and your blog and talked to me about it when she found out my son is Ethiopian... that made me realize what a small world it really is!

Meredith said...

I'm ready to end my blog as well. I aint got nothin but love for ya. Peace out.

Kara said...

I must say that it would make me sad if you stopped blogging. I understand if you decide to, being a busy mommy and all, but I DO enjoy reading it. And it's okay if it's not regularly updated. I just check back every once in awhile. You'll be glad later when you have all of this to look back on and read. But, of course, do what you must. :-)

PLEASE keep blogging...you and Malak give me warning about all the things that are to come in the world of parenting a little boy :) You know, the locked outside the house with the cell phone inside hasn't happened yet but I'm sure it will.

The joy of feed readers (e.g. google.com/reader) is that I don't actually check anyone's blog; it just pops up when there is a new update. So even if it's been a while, I enjoy reading your posts. But I'm right there with you. Twitter especially has sucked all my writing bandwidth, so the blog sits empty.

Amber said...

I too would love if you kept blogging. All of us who are in process find all you bloggers home with your babes very encouraging. And, seriously who cares how often you blog... not I :)
Besides Malek is too cute and I would miss seeing the sweetness

Please keep blogging! You don't know us, but we are in the initial stages of considering adopting from Ethiopia and we have just fallen in love with your family (in a non-creepy way). Hey Tara,
Although I only read your blog about once a month, (or sometimes, once every couple of months:) I still love reading your updates and seeing new pictures of Malak. I don't think anyone will get mad that you are not posting everyday. It's your blog-- you can post how often or how little as you like!:)

I love reading your blog- your posts are so funny!! You only needed 4 comments, and I'm the 88th person to comment, so I think its safe to say that if you stop completely then the blog community would be sad and affected, experiencing a great loss... :) no pressure, if you don't have time, family first.

So...what is the verdict? You going to keep this going?? Please!:)
