Round 3??

First off- SERIOUSLY?! Malak's cute face made it to round 3! That means it is between him and only 15 other kiddos now and I am not going to lie- the competittion is getting a little more steep. Is it rediculous that I am getting a little nervous? Yes, I think it is. So I am going to guess that you might be annoyed, but I have to ask you one last time....will you vote? Teehee. I am a little embarrased to ask again but come one, this is the last round and if he makes it- then it will be between just him and one other baby. (fingers crossed!) Will you vote for him if I promise to never put him into any baby pageants again? :) Although if he won this...no, no, I promise. Here is the link to vote again, http://www.kj103fm.com/pages/babybracket.html?feed=305595&article=4592988 and don't be tempted to vote for the adorable tiny punkin patch baby. Stay the course! :)
In other news. I think it should be known that over the weekend I washed/dryed/folded/Eric ironed and put away every piece of laundry in this house. Woot woot! I am pretty anal about keeping up on chores around the house and try really hard for the house to be pretty close to clean when Eric gets home- but our poor unfortunate closet has become a scary place that has been neglected. There was a rediculous amount of clothes on the floor and since no one else ever goes in there...I pretended it didn't exist. :) But all is well now, I have admited that I have a problem and no longer have to wade through the sea of clothes to walk through the closet.
Malak is still not quite walking. He pulls up on everything and cruises around pretty quick, but has no desire to try and balance on his own! Silly boy. I know that he will do it when he is good and ready, I also know that our life will change dramaticly when he is walking, so I am perfectly happy to let him learn at his own speed. When we try to practice with him he just thinks it's super funny to fall (when we catch him of course). Other things that he thinks are super funny: Farting, burping, other people farting or burping, walking out the front door (I have no idea why that is so funny, but apparently it is), slapping himself in the face, the sound of his aunt Jenn's laugh (he mocks her every time she laughs), when I throw all ball at his forehead and when I suck his cheek with the vacuum hose. :) I think those are the main, exciting points in Malak's life right now. :)
I know a few of us have talked about it already (Stacie, Sam and Lori) but who all is going to see Twilight this weekend?? I don't read a ton these days, my busy son won't allow it, but I made an exception for Twilight and it sucked me right in. It was rediculous. I think I read it in less than a day, if you can count that I stayed up all night reading and then had a dream about Edward. :) So who is going to be standing in line at the theater with all of the middle school girls? Don't be ashamed, let the world know!

Seriously, vote AGAIN?! Ok, if you INSIST! ;-) Of course I'll vote again!

As for the hidden laundry pile... I totally know what you mean about trying to pretend it doesn't exist since no one else sees it! Great job getting it dealt with! :-)

Tara, I am so pleased that your son is nearly a winner! That is so awesome. Lola didn't even get past round 1. I tried to vote with all my different emails, but the world wide web is smarter than I and will not let me. Poop! Anyway, I love reading about your family. XOXO,
Ashtin

I am so not biased...I mean I don't even know you...Malak is hands down the cutest kid! The only one that even comes close is the pumpkin....but seriously Malak is C.U.T.E.

Okay seriously... if Mal doesn't win there is something really wrong!!! Sam is *this close* to walking... he took a couple of steps the other day and this morning, but they are "diving steps" if you know what I mean! Always falls flat on his face but even he laughs! It's so cute :).
love you all!!!

Yes yes yes, I voted. And if, I mean when he wins, you better enter him into another baby contest. I mean if he wins one, he could win even more, right???

Ok, I voted again! I hope he wins! He's definitely the cutest baby (although, that green eyed girl below him is my second pick. However, I didn't vote for her. :)

I just thought I'd come tell you how excited I am to have people to see Twilight with. I don't know if I could have handled the lameness of being an adult alone in a room of tweens. So thanks, friend!

Oh, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Not just because I'm biased, but Malak is hands-down the cutest baby in the finals. No doubt about it. I cast my vote =)

I just voted for Malak for the third time now. He still looks like a winner to me. Although I must say that it finally took til the 3rd round for him to have any kind of competition. In previous votes I was scrolling over the pictures of the other babies as fast as I could. And then, I'd find Malak...ahhh...a cute baby.

I want you to know that I have already voted for the finals. Oh, and if he doesn't win, there is something seriously wrong in the world. In my opinion, there is no competition! Good luck, Malak!
