- we have been married for 8 years and are still having a blast...the Lord has laid Africa on our hearts and so we adopted a baby boy from Ethiopia...it was a long journey, but the Lord has blessed us and our son with more love than we could have imagined! It is such an exciting time!

Hey there! You don't know me, but your blog is one of many that I quietly stalk as my hubby and I go through the process of adopting in Ethiopia. I just wanted to tell you how fabulous your family pics turned out. Malak is adorable! Makes me want a boy now:)

How adorable! Yes, Megan does a great job. Thanks for posting on our blog and adding us to yours. I love reading about little Malak and your family. We are moving ahead with our adoption, but it is slow going. We actually changed agencies (which scares me a little), but have a local friend that just adopted six siblings from Ethiopia and is working with us using the new agency. Did you go through the mixed emotions (male/female, age, etc.), or did you and Eric know instantly? Would love to hear feedback from other adoptive parents because I am really struggling with doing the "right" thing. My husband doesn't care, but I keep thinking how best they will fit in with our other children (ages 5,8,22,25). WHEW...
Keep the posts coming...LOVE seeing new pics of Malak. He seems to change daily!
