Hi Tara- I am a frequent viewer of your blog through Amy's - I met her in Des Moines a while back and we connected online- anyway- I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Your court drama was so terrible! Tara, ever since I heard about your adoption I have came to your blog page almost everyday for an update. I have been very touched by your story and wanted you to know that I have been praying for all of you daily. Today when I opened your page I really didn't believe it, I thought it would be pictures of someone else's little boy. Then when I read it really was him the tears started to flow. I was reminded of a passage from Anne Lamott's Traveling Mercies where she writes:

I came back to look at your cute baby's pictures (again, some more), and decided to comment so you'd be a little closer to 100 comments. I totally think you need to hold off on posting until you pass 100 comments. Since you've gotten to 95 in less than to days, I don't think you'll be waiting long! (I'm kind of jealous--I think the most comments I've ever gotten was about 25, and I had to go through 14.5 hours of unmedicated labor to get even that much attention! I just can't stop crying! I just want to watch the pic video and listen to that song every minite. But then i'll just keep crying . mmm good. Tara and Eric, you are surrounded - what a beautiful thing to be surrounded by love, support, tears, virtual hugs, and in a moment- surrounded by Malak too! When I watched Mal's video I cried lots and then I commented but I've looked twice now and realized I don't think I saved it. Maybe I was tending to a child and got distracted. So what I said the first time was...
Lots of tears. Oh, to walk in you front door and sit down on your couch with your baby in your arms. He will be so happy to be there. He will be happy wherever he is, it seems. I love you and am so happy!
