wahoo!

That's right folks, we are officialy Gladney approved!! This means that our agency has reviewed ALL of our paperwork and documents and homestudy and who know what else and we have been given the stamp of approval. We can now begin the referral process of our adoption! This is the home stretch guys...I got a little teary (from excitement) when I read the email. I think mostly because this is the first time that it has been officialy acknowledged that we are moving along in the adoption process. Up until now it has just been us filling out papers, collecting documents, notarizing our lives away :) and now someone has finaly recognized it and says that we are fit to be parents of a beautiful little baby whom I CANNOT WAIT to meet! Again, I am teary, just thinking about my son...

Congratulations! I can't wait to be there! So, have you gotten your final approval from immigration? Is your Dossier in Ethiopia already? Did Gladney say that you are waiting for a referral? I guess I am curious if Gladney told you if you could get a referral before your dossier is done or before final immigration approval. We are with Gladney too and I am trying to calculate all my steps:)Thanks for any help. You can email me at breedlove75@hotmail.com or leave a comment on www.ourjourneytoethiopia.blogspot.com
Thanks so much, Amy

Hi Tara and Eric. I am so happy for you kids! I can't wait to see Malak's face, squish his cheeks, and kiss his toes. Sounds creepy since we only met once, but I mean well. ;)

Hi Tara and Eric,
I received your comment on our blog. I'm excited to learn that you all are at about the same spot as we are. Maybe we will wind up traveling together. To answer your question, you can certainly add a link to our blog on your site. I'll look forward to following your journey.

I've been following your story on your blog. I was so excited to read about your approval. How exciting!! We hope to get the ball rollin' on our own Ethiopian adoption soon. We're also leaning towards Gladney. Reading all these blogs with all the positive experiences from them help alot.

Have a blessed day!
